IV Wellness Station for Corporate Retreats in Carmel Valley
Most retreat agendas in Carmel Valley are built around sessions, meals and one outdoor activity, and the wellness slot is the one that gets cut when the day runs long. An IV wellness station is easier to run than it sounds. We bring the supplies, the setup and licensed physician assistants to Carmel Valley Ranch, Bernardus, Quail Lodge or whichever property you have contracted, work in a room your venue is already giving you, and move through your team on a schedule you set. Anyone who wants a drip gets one. Anyone who does not can take a ten-minute B-12 injection instead, or skip it entirely. To scope a date, book at /book or call (831) 253-9537.
Where the station fits in a Carmel Valley agenda
Retreat agendas at Carmel Valley Ranch and Bernardus usually have one soft block, the stretch after lunch on day two when the room goes quiet and the afternoon session is fighting a losing battle. That block is where a wellness station earns its place. We arrive during your lunch break, set up while the room is empty, and start treating as the first afternoon break begins. A full drip runs 35 to 45 minutes, so someone who steps out of a breakout comes back before the next one starts. If your agenda has no soft block at all, the other workable window is early morning before the first session, for the people who drove down the night before. Send us the printed agenda when you enquire and we will tell you honestly which windows work and which ones will not.
What the property needs to give you
You need one room with a door, and it does not have to be a large one. A standard breakout room, a boardroom, or a suite off the main meeting space is fine. What matters is a chair or sofa per person being treated, a small table for supplies, a sink or restroom nearby, and a door that closes so intake conversations stay private. Carmel Valley Ranch, Quail Lodge and Bernardus all have rooms that meet this easily, and most venues will not charge extra for a breakout you are already holding. We bring our own supplies and sharps container. We do not need a dedicated power drop or a revision to your floor plan. If the only available space is outdoors on a terrace or lawn, the requirements change, and we will walk through shade, footing and weather contingency with you before you commit to it.
What a mixed team actually chooses
Give a room of twenty people a menu and the choices spread out fairly predictably. The Basic Boost, a litre over about 40 minutes at $160, is the straightforward hydration option and the one most first-timers pick. Myer's Cocktail at $175 to $195 over 35 minutes is the standard vitamin and mineral blend for people who have done this before. The Big Sur Immune Booster, a litre over 40 minutes at $300, gets chosen more in winter and by teams who have just flown in. For anyone who does not want a line in their arm, or does not have 40 minutes to give, the Methylcobalamin B-12 energy boost takes about 10 minutes at $35, and Lipo B, which is MIC plus B-12, takes 15 minutes at $50. Having both formats on the menu is what keeps participation up, because nobody has to opt out entirely.
Making it optional without making it awkward
The organiser problem nobody raises in the enquiry email is that a wellness station printed on a retreat agenda can feel like a group activity people are expected to join. IV therapy is a medical service and it should be genuinely voluntary. A few things help. Publish the station as a window with a sign-up sheet rather than as a timed agenda item the whole room walks into together. Keep the injections on the menu so a short, low-commitment option exists. Let people reserve a slot without announcing which treatment they picked. And say plainly in your pre-read that a physician assistant screens every guest individually, and that some people will be advised a drip is not appropriate for them that day. That is a normal clinical outcome, not a judgement, and not something anyone should have to explain to a colleague afterwards.
How a retreat booking is quoted
Vivere is self-pay and does not bill insurance, so a retreat booking is a commercial arrangement rather than a claim. Most organisers put the whole station on the company account, which is the simplest version: you tell us the headcount you are covering and which treatments are in scope, and we invoice the company once. The alternative is a host-paid base with guests covering their own upgrades at the chair. Either works. On top of treatment prices, a travel fee applies for mobile service, confirmed when we quote your event, because it depends on where in the valley you are and what staffing the day needs. Group minimums and lead time are also confirmed at quote, since a Tuesday in February and a Saturday during Monterey Car Week are entirely different problems. Call (831) 253-9537 or start at /book with your dates.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should we book a retreat wellness station?
Earlier than you would think, and much earlier if your retreat lands during Monterey Car Week or a festival weekend, when peninsula staffing is tight across the board. We do not publish a fixed lead time, because it depends on headcount, date and location. Send your dates as soon as the venue contract is signed and we will tell you straight away whether we can hold them.
