Group IV Therapy for Carmel Valley Resort Stays
A party staying at Carmel Valley Ranch, Quail Lodge or Bernardus is usually there for three or four days, and the schedule is full: golf, a tasting, a long dinner, an early tee time the next morning. Vivere Drip Therapy brings IV hydration to the property so your group does not lose half a day driving into Carmel. A licensed physician assistant arrives with everything needed, sets up in a villa, a suite, a private meeting room or a shaded terrace, and works through the group one guest at a time. We coordinate arrival with the resort so the concierge is not surprised on the morning. Call (831) 253-9537 or start at /book to get your dates on the calendar.
Carmel Valley Ranch, Quail Lodge and Bernardus are not interchangeable
These three properties are not the same to set up in, and the difference shows up in how long your group takes. Carmel Valley Ranch spreads its suites across a hillside, so the practical question is whether your party can gather in one villa or whether the PA moves between buildings. Quail Lodge has flat ground, meeting rooms and lawn space near the golf course, which suits a larger group that wants one room and an orderly queue. Bernardus is smaller and more residential in feel, and groups there usually want drips in a guest room or on a private patio rather than anywhere a stranger walks past. We hold no exclusive arrangement with any of these resorts and we are not a listed amenity at any of them. Whatever the property, we work through whoever holds your reservation — the concierge, a catering manager, or the person who booked the block — so arrival, parking and setup are cleared in advance rather than negotiated at the gate.
Booking direct, and how charges actually settle
Most organisers book with us directly, and that is the simplest route. We are an outside medical provider, not a resort service, so nothing posts to your room folio and there is no commission arrangement with the property. Payment settles with Vivere. That matters in two ways. First, if you want the whole party covered, one person gives us a card at quote and we run the group against it, so nobody is asked for a wallet in a guest room. If you would rather each guest pay for their own drip, we can do that instead, but decide before the day so the PA is not handling payments mid-session. Our group IV pricing and billing page goes deeper on host-paid versus guest-paid. Second, the resort's own vendor rules still apply to us. Some properties want outside vendors notified in advance, some route you through a service entrance, some want a named contact on site. We will work through their requirements, but we need lead time to do it.
The valley runs warmer than the coast, and groups underestimate it
This is the detail visitors get wrong. Carmel Valley sits inland, out of the marine layer, and an August afternoon on the Quail Lodge course or at a Bernardus tasting can be considerably warmer than the foggy morning you left in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Add a round of golf, a long lunch and three tasting rooms, and a fair number of your guests arrive at dinner meaningfully behind on fluids. That is what a group session is for: replacing fluid and electrolytes, and delivering vitamins and minerals directly. It is hydration and nutrient replacement, not treatment for any medical condition, and we will not describe it as anything else. If a guest is genuinely unwell — persistently vomiting, febrile, confused, or injured — the answer is medical care rather than a drip, and the PA will say so on site rather than start a line to keep the group moving.
Matching drips to a multi-day itinerary
Order by the day rather than picking one thing for everyone. Before a round at Quail Lodge or Carmel Valley Ranch, The 17 Mile Performance Hydration runs 1000 ml in 45 minutes at $380, or 500 ml in 35 minutes at $310 for guests who want to be out the door faster. VIP Golfer Wellness — 17 Mile Performance is the 30-minute version at $450, built around a golf day. The morning after the group dinner, Shark Attack, our hangover drip, is a liter over 40 minutes at $200. For a plain baseline, The Basic Boost is 1000 ml in 40 minutes at $160, and Myer's Cocktail runs 35 minutes at $175 to $195. Guests who only want a few minutes can take a Methylcobalamin B-12 Energy Boost at $35 or Lipo B at $50 while the rest of the party is still infusing. Mobile visits carry a travel fee on top of treatment prices, confirmed when we quote your event.
What to send us when you reserve
Give us your dates as soon as the room block is firm, particularly in summer and over event weekends when the whole peninsula fills. We do not publish a minimum head count or a fixed lead time on this page, because both depend on the date, the property and how spread out your party is. Those get confirmed in writing in your quote. What lets us quote quickly: the property and building, the guest count, whether you want everyone in one room or the PA moving between suites, the window you want us on site, and whether the host is paying. Every guest completes intake and consent with the PA before anything is started, and anyone the PA does not clear is not treated, host-paid or not. Call (831) 253-9537 or book at /book.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you treat our whole group in one villa at Carmel Valley Ranch?
Often yes. If your party is together in one villa or suite, the PA works through guests one at a time in that room, which is the fastest arrangement. If the group is scattered across buildings on the hillside, we can move between them, but plan for it to take longer and tell us at quote so we build the right window. Either way, send the guest list and room numbers before the day.
